The song "Um Índio” by Brazilian singer-songwriter Caetano Veloso inspired this series of photos. He gracefully teaches us in this song about the power of simple things, nature, respect, purity, and the beauty of races and how they can become uncommon when mixed. I chose an impenetrable yet common white stone to represent this message. I wish I could say more, and these images represent how I saw it.
In this project, all digital photos were taken in small sets, set up in the studio, later digitally manipulated in Photoshop, changed to B&W, contrast changes, retouching, cropping and in the finalization, in some photos parts of other shots from the same session were applied. No AI interventions were used.
